Question

Are children invited to the wedding and/or reception?

Answer

We love your children, we really do. We hope this evening offers a night off for you. If you are traveling a great distance to attend and have young children in tow please reach out to the Bride and Groom about possible accommodations. We do wish for this to be an adult event and do not want to exclude you.

Potluck?

Answer

You can bring a recipe to the reception and don't have to include it in your RSVP. If we find too many "like" dishes we will ask if anyone can bring a second favorite dish. Guests that are traveling a great distance should not worry about bringing a dish. Gifts from the registry are also appreciated and please do not feel the need to do both. Thank you.

Potluck Vs. Gifts

Answer

Please do not feel the need to bring a dish and a gift. If bringing a side dish for the potluck that and the recipe will be our gift. If you'd rather select a gift from our registry that is awesome. The potluck is an awesome idea and I'm excited to see these dishes. Our wedding menu has changed several times and we don't want anyone to worry; there will be plenty of food.

Is this thing an "open bar"?

We will have some adult drinks available but bringing your own beverages is ALWAYS encouraged and much appreciated.

What is "Woodsy Whimsical"?

Answer

Comfortable enough to sit around the fire and appropriate enough to have your picture taken. We will accept any guest as they are so come comfortable and ready to have fun.
