Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at The Bridge Building.
Our ceremony will be outdoors on our venue's rooftop for a great view of the city, but will be tented and heated/cooled if necessary for your comfort. Cocktail hour will be outdoors along the riverfront, weather permitting. Dinner will be either indoors or outdoors depending on your table, but outdoor tables will be under a tent with siding and climate control. Dancing will be back on the tented rooftop. Keep in mind that Nashville is usually beautiful in May—the average high is 79° and the average low is 57°.
Semi-formal attire is requested. We also recommend comfy shoes for dancing, especially if you plan on walking from our venue to Broadway to continue the party after the reception is over!
Given our venue's proximity to Downtown Nashville and our Nashville hotel blocks, there is no transportation provided. For guests staying Downtown, we highly recommend taking the short walk across the Pedestrian Bridge which is attached to our venue! For guests staying outside of Downtown, we recommend using Uber/Lyft to get around.
Check out the "travel" page for more details! In short, if you are using Uber/Lyft/Taxi to get to the venue, have the car drop you off right outside the building. If you are driving to the venue, please check back on this website closer to the date regarding parking information. You may also choose to utilize the Pedestrian Bridge to walk to our venue, which is attached to the bridge.
Try to arrive about 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, so we can get the party started as scheduled! Note that there is an event at Nissan Stadium the day of the wedding which will increase traffic in the area. There is also an elevator ride required to get to the ceremony space, so arriving early allows us to get everyone seated in a timely manner.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, which means that we invite you to be fully present with us and ask that you refrain from taking photos except when prompted by our officiant. We will be happy to share our professional ceremony photos with you when we receive them. As soon as we walk out of the ceremony space as husband and wife, feel free to take as many photos as you like for the rest of the evening! We'd love to see anything you post, so tag us on Facebook and Instagram.
Yes! We look forward to enjoying a hosted bar, passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, a plated dinner, and cake with you!
Yes! Although the event will take place on several different floors of the venue building, there is an elevator.
Although your presence is present enough, if you would like to gift us something, we have registered for some items to start our married life together. You can find all the details on the "registry" tab. Thank you in advance!
Good question! We pronounce it SAH-LICK. And yes, Sarah is changing her name!
Consistent with the latest CDC and local guidelines and current case numbers, we are not expecting to require any specific safety protocols at our wedding. However, feel free to wear a mask or take other precautions at our event, and please consider getting vaccinated to protect yourself and others! Additionally, if you begin displaying COVID symptoms or have a positive COVID test in the days leading up to our wedding, kindly let us know that you will not be able to attend.
