Will there be transportation to the welcome event?

Answer

Yes, there will be a bus. Please meet in the lobby at the Isla Marriott Courtyard Marriott at 6:15pm. Rebecca probably won’t be on this bus, so expect it to leave on time.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Depends on what you want to do while here. Ubers are widely available in the city, and the venue is right next to the airport. However, if you want to explore other parts of the island, like El Yunque Rainforest, a car rental is recommended. Please note that the venue does have a parking fee of $25.

What will the weather be like/how should I pack?

Answer

It will be humid and hot, and may even rain. If you like beaches, consider a swimsuit. If you don’t like beaches, this island will be a Tough Time.

Please give me more direction on what to wear/what to do.

Answer

Wear something that you think you'll look good in without being too uncomfortable to dance next to the ocean (windy) in 80F degree weather and 90% humidity, homie. Don't wear anything too nice to get sand or sweat on. Expect to be photographed and posted to social media. Do whatever won’t get you posted to r/AITA.

Is it all outdoors?

Answer

Yes- wear your sunscreen (!!!!). It is on the beach so make sure whatever you’re wearing can stand the wind, sand, and possible rain.
