Smart casual - Rebecca will be wearing a qipao and Emily will be in a tux so feel free to scale your attire up to that level of fanciness

Hors d’oeuvres and open bar; Hosted by Shaw and Joel. “Our family tradition is to toast the couple with songs and poems. They can be humorous or sentimental. We will have a guitar and a bass available to accompany you if you like. Please reach out to Emily’s dad, Joel Rosen, at 978-360-3910 to let us know if you plan to do a toast, musical or otherwise. We look forward to a fun night to kick off the wedding weekend.” (This is your chance if you would like to show off your writing skills. Write a song, speech, poem, etc. if you like!)

Dress Code: beachy semi-formal

If you are planning to bring your kids, but expect they will be bored during the ceremony, we will understand if you save them for the partying portion.
