Union Station & Crown Center
Union Station is over 100 years old that still has running trains. It is a beautiful historic building and one of our favorite places to walk around at Christmas. You can also take the skywalk over to Crown Center for shopping and restaurants. Hallmark was founded in Kansas City and there is a Hallmark store in Crown Center.
Liberty Memorial
The primary museum in the country for World War I, is located across from Union Station and has beautiful views of the city. Fun fact: Zach's National Guard unit leads the cannon shooting every May during the Memorial Day tradition "Celebration at the Station."
Country Club Plaza
Lots of great shopping and restaurants about 15 minutes south of downtown. Check out the Made in KC store for local Kansas City gifts and apparel. Our favorite restaurants on the plaza are Gram & Dun or Prime Social - where Travis Kelce took Taylor Swift on one of their first dates!
BBQ
Kansas City is known for BBQ. Two of our favorite places are Q39 and Joe's KC. If you go to Joe's KC, make sure to get The Z-man!
Boulevard Brewing Co
Boulevard is a local brewery that has grown very popular in KC. Visit their building near downtown that has on-site tastings or tours. Our favorite is the Tank 7 or Quantum Hop IPA. #IYKYK
Percheron Rooftop
Percheron is a rooftop bar located in the Crossroads Hotel. It has a stunning view of the city. The lounge area on the bottom level also has great drinks and pizzas.
Kauffman Stadium (Royals)
The Royals play The Detroit Tigers Friday night, May 8th if you would like to check out a Royals baseball game.
KC Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium Tour
Arrowhead hosts daily tours of the stadium with lots of fun history to learn. Plus maybe see Mahomes' or Kelce's locker! Go Chiefs!
