What started as an ordinary day when Zach and Nicole met, slowly began the spark of something new and unexpected. Zach arrived at her door completely unaware that God was about to place the love of his life on the other side of that door. That day led to hours of conversation that flowed effortlessly. From the very beginning, God gently wove our lives together through prayer, long walks along the trails, playful competitions, dancing in the kitchen, deep laughter, cheering on the Chiefs, and sharing a mutual love of tacos, Martin City pizza, and olives. Soon we were attending Radiant church together, exploring our favorite places, meeting friends & family, and building memories. We discovered our strengths — one of us dominates on the pickleball court (Nicole lol), the other is great at drawing, painting and building things (not Nicole lol) — and together, we make a great team in the kitchen. But what truly anchored our hearts was how at rest we felt being around each other. Zach brought Nicole’s walls down and even made her a hugger. Through worshiping together at church, praying over one another, supporting each other during long tax season days or hard winter work, God allowed something beautiful to grow in quiet, steady ways. Love rooted itself deeply, simply guided by His hand and trusting His leadership over our lives. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the story He is writing. Every step, every laugh, and every moment of building memories with the two of us and with Zayden, has been a reminder that God is the author of good. As we enter this new chapter, we give the Lord full control and full glory. Without Him, none of this would exist.
