Why Jamaica?

Answer

We share a mutual love of travel, adventure, meeting new people, discovering hidden gems, and possibly above all else, dancing with people we love under the stars. When the time came to plan our wedding, we wanted to give our guests the opportunity to take a once in a life time trip with us, and we're honored that you are considering sharing in this very special celebration. We chose Jamaica because of it's music, friendly spirit, cultural swirl, natural beauty, and proximity to the USA. We hope you'll come waste your time with us in the velvet seas ;)

Question

Do I have to stay at Half Moon Resort to attend the festivities?

Answer

No, but we do recommend it as the most worry and hassle-free option in Mo' Bay if you are attending the wedding events. There will be a number of activities planned throughout the wedding weekend at the resort and in the words of Steven Tyler, we don't want you to miss a thing. That said, we want this to be YOUR dream vacation too, so please, do what makes sense for you and/or your spouse/friends/family!

Are children invited to jam on?

Answer

YES! We chose Half Moon Bay because of its luxurious but chill family friendly vibe. The little ones are invited to join for the ceremony and welcome events, but the resort does offer a Kids Zone and nanny services if you'd like to let your braids down at some points throughout your stay.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Wedding festivities will begin on the April 17th, 2020, but the group rate will be extended to any guests staying at Half Moon Resort for the 2-3 days before and/or after the events if you'd like to extend your vacation. PLEASE NOTE: the group rate requires a 3 night stay. If you can, we recommend checking in no later than Friday AM for a full day of beachside lampin' and sight seein', plus visiting with other guests.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are so appreciative of you making the trek to Jamaica to celebrate with us, and your presence is your present. At the behest of our guests, we do have a registry, if you feel so compelled. Check the registry tab for more info!

It sure does, and we'll give you 42 reasons to LOVE this vacation.

I'M READY! Where do I sign my life away to join you in paradise?

Answer

Yes!!! :::HIGH FIVE::: Okay, first, confirm attendance using the RSVP tab for the Ceremony and Reception. Afterwards, please navigate to the TRAVEL to select your room or Villa of choice. If you would like to coordinate the booking of a villa with friends, please contact Erica Morrison - EMorrison@halfmoon.com - to notify her of your group. The deadline for booking your room is FEBRUARY 16, 2020. We cannot guarantee the highly discounted rate after that date.

Is Breakfast Included?

Answer

A wonderful breakfast buffet is included in your room rate  for all suites and hotel rooms. No reservations needed, this meal is served from 7AM-10:30AM. Founders Cove and Eclipse will both have this service. Villa Room bookings DO NOT include breakfast.

Where Can I Find Additional Info On Villa Bookings?

For those who booked Villa rooms, we've attached a PDF (sent via follow-up email) on ways to make enhance your stay, including details on dining, cleaning, golf carts, and more. We recommend reaching out to Erica Morrison to set up meals made by your personal cook, build a shopping list, and make any requests on preferences for room/bed  arrangements.
