The Atlanta Beltline is a staple! We love the walk from Ponce City Market all the way down to Krog Street Market. If you go even further, there are more restaurants and bars, including a Shake Shack.
Great market with a rooftop bar and amazing restaurants! Allie lived right across the street during her first 2 years in Atlanta. Great access to the beltline as well!
This is hands down one of the best brunches in ATL. It is CASH ONLY (ATM on site) and there is no alcohol, but it's a 1950s style diner with the best biscuits in Atlanta and amazing coffee.
TATER TOT NACHOS. Need I say more? Fantastic brunch, amazing Bloody Mary's... and tachos. Seriously so good.
Many argue these are the best burgers in ATL - be sure to read the rules on the menu and be nice to the servers! There are 2 locations, one in Little 5 Points, one in Midtown. Slightly different vibes, equally amazing burgers. The Midtown location has a comedy club, the Laughing Skull, where you can see some of the most popular comedians in ATL.
Great comedy venue attached to the Vortex
Fun cocktail bar that pays tribute to famous musicians like Tupac, Biggy, Prince, and David Bowie.
This is the restaurant where Garrett and Allie had their first date - you HAVE to try their burger!
SUCH amazing sandwiches! Fun drinks and great vibes - very laid back and casual. The sandwiches are slider sized - Allie will usually get 2 and be stuffed, Garrett tends to get 3. The "hambo" sandwich is out of this world!
AMAZING Tapas on the Beltline. Great park right there as well.
Super fun rooftop bar on top of the Claremont Hotel - if you want something a little more risque - there's also a famous strip club in the basement - we don't judge ;)
Great brewery with food, amazing views! Right on the Beltline.
Gorgeous park smack in the middle of Midtown ATL
Market similar to Ponce City Market, but much smaller. TONS of food options and a bar. There's also a liquor store if you need anything. We HIGHLY suggest checking out Gu's Dumplings if you go to Krog!
If you're open to a more pricey meal, book reservations NOW! These guys fill up pretty quickly but it's an incredible dining experience - especially if you're an adventurous eater. It's one of our favorite spots in town.
Super fun outdoor bar! They have a "patio punch" that is served in a capri-sun-like pouch. Don't wear heels, ladies, it's mostly gravel, making it challenging to walk on in heels.
There are a few locations around the city for Fox Brothers - they're famous and amazing so any of the locations will be wonderful.
Some of the best Italian food in Atlanta!! You have to try the Tortelli di Mele
Great pizza place on the Beltline! The owners are originally from New Jersey, so you know it's gotta be good!
Very nice restaurant on the Beltline - great for brunch or dinner! A little bit of a fancier vibe - but generally pretty casual.
Restaurant & Bar on the top of Ponce City Market. You do need to make reservations, and they have you pay $25 per person to reserve a table. That amount gets refunded to your check at the end of the meal. Arguably the best views in the city. You can pop over to Skyline Park and play some carnival games and put put after dinner! The vibe for dinner is a little fancier (i.e. don't wear athleisure, but jeans and a nice top should be fine)
Super fun karaoke bar - if you're into that kind of thing. It's located in Virginia Highlands, where there are a ton of great spots to go out, including Dark Horse, Neighbors, & Atkins.
