It takes 1h15m to fly from Paris to Bordeaux. The Bordeaux airport is located just 20 minutes from downtown Bordeaux. Paris-Bordeaux Trains

A 2-hour high-speed train from Paris is the fastest and most enjoyable way to reach Bordeaux. Fares range from €50-100. The "slow" train takes 2h40m. Book tickets on www.sncf-connect.com

Bordeaux-Laubardemont (Coutras) Trains

To get from Bordeaux to Laubardemont without a car, try the 30-minute train to the Coutras station. It leaves Bordeaux every hour and costs €12. Book tickets on www.sncf-connect.com Keep in mind, taxis/Ubers are not readily available near the Château as it is a rural area, and the Coutras station is 1.5 miles from the Château. So this only makes sense if you are meeting up with another group that has access to a car.

Travel Note

If driving from Bordeaux to Laubardemont...

The A89 highway is a toll road (it is not expensive). But don't worry, the toll booths take credit cards and Apple Pay. Make sure you do not miss the exit off Highway A89. Freeway exits are not frequent so a missed turn can easily add 20 minutes to your journey.

You can drive in France with a US Driver's License. You must have your passport available to present if pulled over. In France, it is illegal to turn right on red at a traffic light, even if the road is clear. The legal limit is 0.05% blood alcohol concentration and Rosemary is not licensed to represent you in court so please be careful.
