Quintessential candy store with killer fudge. Try the Mudslide or the Penuche. There's also classic taffy, every flavor of Jelly Belly's ... just down the block from Daytrip Society in the heart of Dock Square, Kennebunkport.

A wildlife refuge with hiking trails and access to marshland and the ocean, named for renowned marine biologist and environmentalist, Rachel Carson.

Beautiful, and not-too-difficult hike nearby!

The best sailing in town is on The Pineapple Ketch which docks at The Nonantum Resort.
The Franciscan Monastery
A beautiful and contemplative Monastic Estate near the beach in Kennebunk. Walk the grounds, light a candle inside the Monastery, visit the shrines, explore the trails behind the buildings that open out into the marshlands and ocean.
Garden Street Bowl
In the space that used to house our local grocery shop, there’s now a bowling alley! Bowling is rad.
Exploring Portland!
The visitor's guide at the website above is chock full of ideas for fun excursions, adventures, bites, and sips in the great city of Portland. It's about 30 minutes from Kennebunkport, so very accessible if you have a car. The Amtrak will get you there, as well.
