Do you have a room block?

We do not have a room block, but please call The Colony Hotel AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to secure the best room at the best price (207-967-3331).

Where will the Ceremony and Reception take place?

Answer

The Friday night Welcome Drinks, as well as the Ceremony and Reception, and Sunday Brunch will all take place at The Colony Hotel.

What time should we arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30PM. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to get seated!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail! We'll be dressed up ... you should, too! But don't be afraid of colors, patterns, and prints!

Any other notes on attire?

Answer

Keep an eye on Weather.com because the temperature in May in Maine is a question mark. Until we get closer, we recommend planning to bring layers! Whatever the weather brings (fingers crossed for sun and warmth!), temperatures will dip at night, so please be prepared for that.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We hope you know by now that we love and adore your children. That said, the Ceremony and Reception is an adults-only celebration. (Please feel free to bring the kids to the Friday Welcome Drinks, and to Sunday Brunch).

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking at The Colony Hotel, and the hotel is somewhat ADA accessible, with a ramp and elevator to accommodate guests with limited mobility.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

When and how should I plan to RSVP?

Answer

We sent out paper invites in early March. Please let us know if you’re coming under the “RSVP” section of our website. You will be given a list of each of the wedding events and can mark which ones you’ll be attending.

Are there 2 songs that will be played and sung at your reception that we could learn the lyrics to so we can sing it with you at the top of our lungs on the dance floor?

Can I bring my pet to the Wedding Weekend?

Answer

Unfortunately, not as there are a number of guests with allergies of varying severity, so we are keeping the wedding pet-free. Thanks for your understanding.
