Our Story
We first met in 2017 the week before we were both starting a master's program in architecture at the University of Washington. The university had set up a facebook page for incoming students, and Adam made a post asking if others wanted to get together for a hike at Mt. Rainier. Rosemarie reluctantly joined - only after some convincing from their roommate. A few days later, we ended up being seated beside each other in our studio course (where architecture students spend countless hours). What started as a friendship quickly transformed into something more through the many late nights, shared coffees and sweet treats, and weekends exploring Seattle. After seven years of adventures and memories - including an early formative road trip down the Oregon coast, a semester abroad in Italy, a surprise move-in-together scenario, and a cross-country drive to adopt a puppy - Adam proposed to Rosemarie on the same slope of Mt. Rainier where we first met.
