Bridesmaid
Roseline and Shareen met at a mom’s night out, and they’ve been close ever since! At weddings, you’ll find her eating, drinking, or dancing — sometimes all at once. She’s also no stranger to adventure: Shareen once paddled with a crew across one of the roughest channels in the world, from Moloka’i to Oahu. 🌊✨
Bridesmaid
Darchelle and Roseline first met at McDonald’s when their boys started playing together. Rose smiled and said, “Well, they’re already playing together, so you might as well sit down next to me.” From there, the friendship grew — with Chris fitting right into the village thanks to his welcoming spirit and way with kids. At the wedding, you’ll definitely find Darchelle on the dance floor (probably pulling others out to join her 💃). Fun fact: she’s lived in four different states outside of California and isn’t afraid of fresh starts or meeting new people. 🌟
Bridesmaid
Roseline’s cousin, Ruth, is always ready to bring the energy. If her favorite song comes on, you’ll find her first on the dance floor, no hesitation. She’s also a fearless karaoke fan — even without a drop of liquid courage! In fact, her last performance left a restaurant owner stunned when he learned she’d only had water. Ruth knows how to live it up and put on a show. 🎤✨
Bridesmaid
Chris may call her his “little sis,” but in reality, he’s the younger one. Kelechi and Roseline bonded over their shared love of brunch dates and Starbucks runs, and she’s always up for keeping things fun. At the wedding, you’ll spot her tearing up the dance floor the second Afrobeats or the Cha Cha comes on. A true jet-setter, she’s always got travel tips to share — and if you’ve got unused travel points, she’ll happily help you put them to good use. 🌍💃✨
Bridesmaid
Erin is the reason this wedding is even happening — she’s the one who introduced Chris and Roseline. Her wedding vibe? A calm presence (and possibly a master napper 💤). Fun fact: Erin likes chickens more than people and will never say no to a margarita.
Groomsman
Chris’s cousin and longtime partner-in-crime, Ikechi has been by his side through the years — and Chris was honored to stand as a groomsman at his wedding. Back in Chris’s college football days, Ikechi made the mistake of joining him for a workout and almost didn’t survive the beast-mode session. As long as there’s Afrobeats, you’ll find him first on the dance floor, no invitation needed. And when the party’s over, you might catch him living his best life DJ-ing for himself, blasting loud music, and dancing like no one’s watching.
Groomsman
Chris and Johnny go way back to their years as housemates in Southern California, sharing three different homes and plenty of memories. Like many before him, Johnny once made the mistake of joining Chris for a workout — a very short-lived endeavor. He also launched an ambitious photo booth business that Chris backed, but let’s just say it didn’t last much longer than that workout. When the music’s on and the drinks are flowing, you’ll always find Johnny in the thick of the action. One of his and Chris’s funniest memories? The night they stole a bar table reserved for “Mac and Tyler.” To this day, Chris is still “Mac” and Johnny is still “Tyler.”
Groomsman
Chris (or “Slim,” as he knew him back then) and Sheldon go all the way back to high school in 2005, giving them nearly two decades of friendship. Sheldon is a true chameleon — his vibe matches whatever the night calls for. If the party needs someone on the dance floor, he’s there without hesitation. And for a fun fact? He’s managed to make it through life without ever eating a salad.
Groomswoman
Summer first met Chris (Mac) in 2020 through mutual friends, and the two later became roommates from 2021 to 2023 — part of a fun, lively friend-group household where there was always something happening. She’s a true social butterfly — easygoing, warm, and always the first to make new friends feel welcome. One of her favorite memories from those years was their weekly group dinners: Summer would cook, Chris handled cleanup, and their friends filled the place with laughter and good chaos. Fun fact: she also knits. 🧶✨
