Flight
We recommend flying into Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in San Jose. This is the closest international airport to the villa. GETTING TO MANUEL ANTONIO Ground Transportation Transportation vans work 24/7 so you can wake up in the jungle, even if you arrive in the late evening! This is a private van option is organized by our villa concierges. The drivers will make stops along the way to take pictures, bite to eat. The trip typically takes around 3 to 3.5 hours. Price depends on how many people per van. Important: to use this service, register at link below with your flight info. Domestic Flight There are two airlines that fly from SJO to XQP. It is about a 25-minute flight. You will need to clear customs, pick up your bags and walk over to the domestic terminal ~ 7-minute walk. You will need to request a villa shuttle from Quepos to Manuel. Sansa – www.flysansa.com Costa Rica Green Airways – www.costaricagreenair.com Note: If your flight into SJO lands later in the day and you prefer to take the puddle jumper vs. ground transportation, you will need to stay the night near the airport and take a puddle jumper to Manuel the next day. The last flight to Quepos (XQP) is in the afternoon. Car Rental Parking is very limited in Manuel Antonio so often having a car is more of a burden. Taxis are plentiful and not expensive to get around town. If you are planning on staying after, you can arrange for a car to be delivered to your lodging upon check out.
