USD are accepted everywhere in Costa Rica. Just make sure they aren't torn, ripped or have writing on them. The banks won't accept them so neither will stores. It's best to bring smaller bills
No, Costa Rica uses 110v, just the same as back home!
Yes! We will be providing transportation for all guests staying off-site to and from the villa on wedding day. For all other events, Manuel Antonio has great and abundant taxi services. We recommend asking your hotel concierge or airbnb host for a taxi service phone number to have on hand during your stay. UBER is available but illegal in Costa Rica and it's not recommended to use.
Yes!! You must have a valid passport in order to enter Costa Rica. Check your passport early, it must be valid for a minimum of 3 months to travel to Costa Rica. A return ticket out of the country is required too.
Taxis are very prevalent around the area and affordable for anywhere you want to go! Your hotel, villa or Airbnb concierges are always happy to provide a number and/or book a taxi for you!
Yes, the water in Costa Rica is generally considered safe to drink. If you have a very sensitive system, or are concerned that something could disagree with you, you can play it safe with bottled water.
