What hotel should I stay in?

Answer

We have a room block at The Hampton Inn Doylestown and The Homewood Suites Doylestown which are in the same lot. Please book a room under the Meehan-Shannon room block online at https://tinyurl.com/shannon-room-block OR call 215-343-8400. Please book your room ASAP - Availability is now limited. You will not be charged for your room until you arrive! The room block closes on 9/15/2026 or when hotel capacity is reached. (Code: MSW)

What is the dress attire?

Answer

We are requesting that our guests wear semi-formal attire. Women - mid to long length dresses / Men - suit and tie. Please avoid jeans, boots, sneakers, and athletic hats.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We are riding teacher style! School busses are being provided to take guests from the Hampton Inn to the reception at The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm and back at the end of the night. More details coming soon. For those who are are not drinking and would prefer to drive themselves, there is valet parking at the reception.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love all the kids in our lives dearly. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate them at our wedding. We hope that parents can take this opportunity to enjoy a night off!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have reserved seats in your honor for the individuals listed on your invitation! Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests.

When can I check into the hotel?

Answer

Check in starts at 3:00 PM. We suggest that you come to the church first for our wedding ceremony. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time to go to the hotel to check in and get on the shuttle to the reception. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Check out is at 11:00 AM.

Where can I park?

Answer

Ceremony - There is plenty of parking in the church parking lot. Reception - If you plan on taking the shuttle, you can park your car at The Hampton Inn Doylestown. The Shuttle will bring you back there at the end of the night. For those who are not drinking, there is valet parking at the reception.
