In November of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, Roseanna and Matt met online. A few weeks later, she was getting ready to meet Matt for the first time. For weeks, they talked non-stop. In the middle of the pandemic there was no where to go on a first date, so Matt came to her apartment at Temple. From the moment Roseanna opened the door, she knew Matt was going to be a keeper! Matt reassured her with a hug at the door and they spent the whole night talking. Unfortunately, Matt would be moving out of Philly soon as he was nearing graduation, but that clearly didn't stop them! They spent every day together before he moved. Their first "official" date was supposed to be a nice dinner, but the day after Christmas, everything shut back down from covid. Instead, they strolled around the King of Prussia Mall. Later, he would take her back to that same spot to make things official on January 16, 2021.
Every fall, Roseanna and Matt go camping in Jim Thorpe with his family. It is Roseanna's favorite camping trip of the year! Leading up to the big day, Matt said he was going fishing with his dad, but in reality he was in Jim Thorpe scoping out the perfect spot. Turns out the bridge he wanted to propose on was closed for months leading up to their trip and opened just in time! Under the guise of taking family pictures, Roseanna was shocked when Matt dropped to a knee. Little did she know that wasn't the only surprise. On the other side of the bridge, her family was watching every moment! They spent the rest of the day surrounded by their immediate families celebrating the start of forever.
