You don't have to book rooms at the venue to come to the wedding, but staying onsite will make it easier. If you want to stay onsite, you'll have to book and pay for a room just like at a hotel. Follow the link in the "Travel and Lodging" tab to book. Please reach out if you have any questions about the rooms or the booking process!
Yes! Friends and family of all ages are welcome at all wedding events. If your child cannot sit quietly through a 30-minute ceremony, we will have a separate quiet area for them.
Please arrive by 4:00 PM. The ceremony begins at 4:30. However, the entire venue is open to us and our guests all day on May 17th, so feel free to arrive earlier and go for a hike on one of the trails.
If you'd like to bring a +1 and your invite does not include a +1, please reach out to Rose at hannahrlevit@gmail.com.
Please don't. We've limited our registry to only charitable donations for a reason: given the current political and socioeconomic climate in the United States, we'd prefer to use our wedding as a chance to "pay it forward" rather than accept gifts for ourselves.
Yes! All indoor and most outdoor spaces at Islandwood are wheelchair accessible. The outdoor trails are unpaved and Islandwood can provide an all-terrain wheelchair if needed. Golf carts are available to transport those with mobility needs. Service animals are permitted, but please reach out to Islandwood to coordinate if you plan on bringing one. The entire venue has a fragrance-free policy to accommodate those with scent sensitivities, so please refrain from wearing perfume or other strong scents. Additionally, we will designate quiet/sensory-friendly spaces that are open to all. Please reach out to Rose at hannahrlevit@gmail.com if you need specific accommodations.
Yup! There are gender-neutral bathrooms available in the administration building. We encourage all guests to use whichever bathroom aligns most closely with their gender identity.
May weather in Washington is unpredictable, so plan to dress in layers and bring rain gear. Don't bring any shoes that could get ruined by wet grass. Please note that Islandwood doesn't provide hair dryers. If you have a portable instrument (guitar, fiddle, flute, drum, etc.), please bring it for our Friday night song session!
We will provide a breakfast buffet and lunch buffet on Saturday, May 17th for all out-of-town guests staying at Islandwood.
Even though marijuana is legal in Washington state, it's not permitted on the Islandwood campus. Please don't bring any or we could get in trouble. Please also refrain from bringing alcohol; we've got you covered.
