How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, highway 12 is closed the weekend of May 1st. We recommend you plan your route ahead of time and consider taking the scenic route through downtown Wayzata. Address is 525 Leaf St, Orono, MN 55356

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 4:00 pm. Please arrive a few minutes early so you're able to take your seat ahead of time.

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes - the Woods Retreat has a large parking lot available. Cars may be left overnight if needed but must be picked up by noon the next day.

What is the timeline of the day?

Answer

Our ceremony will be from 4:00-4:30, followed by a social hour from 4:30-6:00 pm. Dinner and dance to follow. Dance will conclude by 10:30 pm.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are requesting an unplugged ceremony. Please be present in the moment with us and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony! We've hired professional photographers to capture our day and will be happy to share photos once we receive them.

Will the ceremony be held outdoors?

Answer

No, our ceremony will be inside. The venue does have a lovely patio that can be enjoyed during the cocktail hour if weather permits.
