Matt and Ashley first crossed paths in high school, but it wasn't until years later when they both found themselves back home in the summer of 2020 - thanks to the unexpected twist of a pandemic - that they finally reconnected. One conversation led to another and before long they were inseparable, and started dating! After college they moved to Chicago together where they enjoyed beach volleyball, walks along the lake shore, and spending time with friends. They then added to the excitement with their beloved golden retriever Maple and soon decided that she needed a backyard to play in. In September 2024, Matt and Ashley bought their first house together in Greenville, SC. The last year has been spent on countless house projects and trying new restaurants. Fast forward to April, Matt surprised Ashley by proposing in their favorite spot downtown! We are so glad you're here to celebrate with us.
