Trains available from Newark Airport to Asbury Park, 1 hr 30 min with transfer at Long Branch Station. Train from the Long Branch Station into midtown Manhattan is approximately 1 hr 40 min. Be forewarned! Before New York Penn Station there is Newark Penn Station, don't know who decided that was a good idea.
