Question

COVID Update: Vaccination Requirement

Answer

It's been an interesting time to plan a wedding. We certainly do not take this gathering for granted and remain very much on the "safety first" train. As things stand New Jersey is not restricting travel to the state or imposing numerical limits on gatherings, inside or out. While that is great news, some of our nearest and dearest are immunocompromised or are too young to be vaccinated. We are asking that every guest over the age of 12 be fully vaccinated. Gotta get poked to party. This allows us to have a mask free ceremony and celebration (of course those who wish to can mask up). Please let us know if you have any concerns about this requirement.

Question

What is your contact info?

Answer

Email us at RozandJay4ever@gmail.com <3 Our address is 8913 North Seneca St Portland, OR 97203

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We have childcare day of the event who are the Maddie's (groom's sister) friends! They are wonderful young women. Let us know if you are interested!

Question

Exactly what is the dress code here?

Answer

We have recently learned that coastal chic is a style of dress and are going with that! That does not mean you need to wear puka shells. It could be fairly hot, jackets are not necessary. Light, breathable material advised. But still glamorous, ya know?

Question

A note from the Father of the Bride on parking Friday/Sunday:

Answer

There is free valet parking at the Asbury Hotel the day of the event! For the rest of the weekend, as a resort town, Asbury Park gathers a great deal of the revenue necessary for upkeep of its facilities through parking fees. And by fees, we don't just mean what you might put into one of the parking kiosks or have your credit card charge via the Asbury Parking app, which is very helpful and can be downloaded at this website https://www.asburyparkapp.com/. Asbury Park gives out a lot of parking tickets. I guess having 'Park' in the name of your city makes that likely. If you are going around town, all of the parking spaces that are metered are 24/7 for 365 days a year. If you go a few blocks away from the ocean there is street parking that is free, but always be sure to check the signs as some of blocks require a resident permit. There are a few parking lots in Asbury Park, but other than the municipal one downtown they are very expensive.

Question

Wow, that guy knows a lot about parking! Can I contact him directly with questions?

Answer

Yes! Per the legend and actual 1978 parallel parking competition champion himself, "if you want more tips on where and how to park, please reach out directly to T.J. Elliott at tjell2010@gmail.com or 609-306-4129."

For all the days along the way
