Question

By what date should I RSVP?

Answer

We would appreciate responses no later than March 15, 2025.

Question

What does "Garden Party Formal" mean?

Answer

In homage to the gardens surrounding our tented reception, we ask that our guests wear long or midi dresses, formal jumpsuits, or suits and ties. Floral prints, bright spring colors, and seersucker suits are encouraged! The bridal party will be in pink florals. While we will be outdoors, please note that all reception surfaces are paved.

Question

What's the deal with French Quarter Fest?

Answer

We're excited to have everyone in New Orleans for one of our favorite weekends of the year! French Quarter Fest is a free four-day music and food festival that takes place throughout the French Quarter - we really encourage everyone to check it out! A map and schedule of performances will be available at frenchquarterfest.org closer to 2025.

Question

How do I get to the Old Ursuline Convent?

Answer

If you are coming from outside of the French Quarter, we recommend approaching from Esplanade Avenue to avoid having to drive through French Quarter Fest.

Question

Can I park near the Old Ursuline Convent?

Answer

We recommend taking a taxi or ride share to our wedding, as parking in the French Quarter is very limited even without a big event like French Quarter Fest. If you do plan on driving, you can view the location of nearby paid parking lots by searching The Old Ursuline Convent's address (1100 Chartres St. New Orleans, LA 70116) on Premium Parking's website, www.premiumparking.com. Please note that availability may not be accurately reflected on the Premium Parking website.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love spending time with all the children in our lives, our wedding celebration is adults-only.

Question

What should I do while I'm here?

Answer

We're so glad you asked - check out the New Orleans page for some of our favorite spots!
