Avoid the Resort Sales Pitch
At check-in, you may be offered an "opportunity" to attend a breakfast or other meeting with the resort in exchange for some free perks. This is a timeshare pitch for the Secrets Vacation Club. Just firmly say no, thank you.
Tipping
While tips are not required, you may choose to bring some small bills to have on hand to tip the staff during your stay. Rory and Jordan will take care of tips for staff at the wedding-related events.
Download the Resort App
Download the "Hyatt Inclusive Collection" app before arriving at the resort. This app will allow you to easily view restaurant hours and dress codes, as well as activities throughout the resort. It also has an interactive map to help you navigate the resort easily.
Restaurant Reservations
All restaurants at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres are first come, first served, except for Himitsu (teppanyaki). Download the "Hyatt Inclusive Collection" app before arriving at the resort. This app will allow you to easily view restaurant hours and dress codes. Please note that some restuarants require men to wear pants for indoor dining.
Packing Tips
Please pack sunscreen, bug repellant, and a light sweater for evenings. Pool floats are allowed at the resort if you would like to bring one - the pool staff will even inflate them for you!
Water Sports and Activities
Paddle boards, kayaks and hobie cats are included with your stay, and times can be reserved once you arrive. Other activities such as jet skis and parasailing can also be done at an extra charge. There are daily activities offered. The best way to available activity times is via the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app.
Golf
Guests of Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres receive discounted greens fees at the Playa Mujeres Golf Course. If you would like to play golf with others in the wedding group, please text Rory and she will work on getting people connected! concierge.sepbc@secretsresorts.com
