Things To Do

Here are some of our foodie favorites in the Georgetown neighborhood.

Martin's Tavern

1264 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

Keeping the history and wedding connections going - we recommend you check out this D.C. institution. One of the back booths is where JFK proposed to Jackie O.

Boulangerie Christophe

1422 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

The pistachio eclaire is a must try! Closest thing to what you can find in Paris :)

Compass Coffee

1351 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

Mike and I have walked many times all the way from Arlington to this location - it's our favorite for drinking a coffee leisurely. It can get busy so I recommend heading there early in the day.

Greco

1335 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

Perfect fast casual. Mike says its the closest gyro to the ones he's had in Athens! We love the chicken gyro with honey mustard (comes with tomatoes, onions, and loaded with fries).

Chez Billy Sud

1039 31st Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

We love this spot - it's a smaller restaurant so not a bad idea to call ahead but it's also conveniently next door to the hotel.

Baked & Wired

1052 Thomas Jefferson Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

Conveniently located by the Canal near the hotel, this is the more popular choice among locals for baked goods (don't let Georgetown cupcakes - reel you in) - Baked and Wireds' are just as good and without the line.

Call Your Mother Deli – Georgetown

3428 O Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

Awesome spots for bagel sandwiches.

Apéro & La Bohème

2622 P Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

Recommend for a charcuterie board and a nice cocktail.

For all the days along the way
