Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR)

Please note a passport is required for anyone entering Mexico. Make sure yours is up to date & is valid through May 2022! This is the airport for Puerto Vallarta. There will be many vendors vying for your business to time shares, tours, etc as you walk out of customs to exit the airport. It can be overwhelming, but just keep walking. We recommend taking a taxi with signs that read TAXI AUTORIZADO which means "authorized taxis." Taxis accept USD and pesos. It will cost about $240-$300 pesos or $15-20 USD to get to the hotel (10-15 minute drive) which you will pay in advance before exiting the airport. Tipping at the end is welcomed.
