This is a hike in the Three Sisters Wilderness with a great view of Three Creek Lake. From the Three Creeks Lake trailhead, follow a winding single-track trail as it switchbacks up the mountain and out of the tree line. The trail tops out on the "Tam McArthur Rim" with a great view of Broken Top Mountain and the valley below. You then hike along the rim and onto McArthur Rim at an elevation of 7732 feet. From here you have great panoramic views of the area. Around 5.5 miles long.
This trail follows Whychus Creek into the Three Sisters Wilderness with views of South Sister. The area has been burned in recent wildfires, so expect to pass through some very sunny burn scars. Three distinct falls are visible from the trail. It is not recommended to try and access the trailhead with a low-clearance vehicle. Around 6 miles long
Hand Lake via Scott Lake Discover this 3.7-mile out-and-back trail near Blue River, Oregon. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 14 min to complete. This trail is great for backpacking, camping, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are July through October. About Four miles long.
