We have decided to use an online RSVP service. In fact, you are already in the right place! Simply find the RSVP page connected to this one and follow the on screen instructions.
Not to worry! We removed the RSVP page as it is past the time to get them in. You can still make changes! Please contact either Crystal or Justin and they will ensure your information gets through.
The ceremony will be taking place at Pioneer Villiage at Shingle Creek, an outdoor museum which will be open for our guests to enjoy. Please dress comfortably for outside weather and walking terrain that includes grass and gravel. The chapel we will be holding the ceremony in is small, so, while there is seating available, we ask the those seats be given to those with small children or who are unable to stand for the duration of the ceremony. The reception venue is indoors in the Historic Downtown Kissimmee area. There will be space for mingling and a dance floor. Again, please be comfortable.
The theme is Steampunk. We are welcoming all who wish to dress in theme and encourage it, however, it is not required. If you choose not to dress up, please simply dress nicely and comfortably.
Steampunk (also known as Neo-Victorian) is a fantasy genre revolving around the concept that modern technology is still powered by steam. Gears, clockwork, corsets, top hats, and railroads all are major trail markers in the era known as Steampunk. If this still confuses you, that's OK. I will be happy to provide links and information if you want a more in-depth explanation.
I have found a wonderful resource for you to use. https://vintagedancer.com/steampunk/ is an excellent resource. This site contains many links that can point you toward specific pieces at a variety of prices and also contains a few blog posts to help you decide and layer clothing in a steampunk style. In fact, you may already have some pieces in your closet you can use! Alternatively, they also have a page for Victorian clothing (https://vintagedancer.com/victorian/). This will fit theme as well and may offer other options (just please, no hoop skirts due to space limitations at the venues).
Parking can be found at the bank next door, along Monument Ave, along Church St, or in the small parking lot directly across from the venue. However, please do not park at the Veterans center behind the building.
No worries, we want to make sure everybody is able to fully be a part of our wedding events. If you have specific allergies or need special accommodations, please let us know in the comment box of your online RSVP.
Decided not to rent a car, no problem. The Kissimmee and Orlando area has several transportation options available. You can always download the Uber or Lyft apps. Alternatively, cab companies such as Mears Taxi and others are available. Finally, the Lynks Bus System is also easily accessible.
