Ronnie proposed to Katy on New Year's Eve after the ball dropped. 

He tied the ring to their dog, Stella's collar, then got down on one knee and proposed.

Ronnie picked the ring at Kay Jewelers in Auburn, MA.

He chose it based on Katy's love of all things vintage. 

The ring was everything she had hoped for, though they'd never looked at rings together.
