Bride
I’m a Jersey girl with Southern charm who now calls Atlanta home. As a nurse and aspiring entrepreneur with a compassionate heart and an eye for elegance, I’ve learned to balance ambition with grace. I’m passionate about caring for others while also embracing the beauty in life’s luxuries. Faith, family, and all things glamorous are at the center of who I am. Whether it’s spending quality time with loved ones, creating memories, traveling to different countries or simply savoring quiet moments, I cherish the blend of adventure and tranquility in my life. I’ve always dreamed of a love story straight out of a fairy tale, and with Ronnie, I’ve found something even better. Ronnie is everything I could have hoped for in a life partner—Handsome, thoughtful, funny, and a true example of selflessness. He constantly makes me feel cherished and supported in ways I didn’t even know I needed, and his energy is truly infectious in any room he walks into. One of the biggest blessings in our union has been gaining my bonus bestie 👯♀️, Khari. She has brought so much joy and love into my life, and stepping into the role of bonus mom has been an honor. I’m beyond excited to continue building our relationship and growing in love as a family. As we prepare to say “I do,” I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with the people who have shaped our story. I can’t wait to step into this next chapter and begin forever with my best friend and heart and human form.
Groom
My name is Ronnie, and I can honestly say that I’m in one of the best places in my life—emotionally, spiritually, financially, and physically. I’m blessed with an incredible daughter who is my everything, and I’ve found the love of my life who truly completes me in every possible way. They say falling in love is one of the most selfish yet beautiful things you can do because it’s that rare moment when two people find exactly what they’ve been searching for, without concern for the opinions of others. For me, this chapter of my life is all about fulfillment—being filled with love, admiration, and a deep sense of purpose with the woman who has changed my life. I know that every friendship and relationship I’ve built along the way has shaped who I am and led me to this moment. To everyone who has been part of my journey—thank you for your patience, your guidance, and your support. You’ve seen the evolution of a knucklehead into an educated, self-assured man, and I’m so grateful for you all. The best part of this wedding for us is bringing together all of you—our friends and family—into one space. This day is more than just about Lia and me; it’s about the beautiful blending of two worlds. From this day forward, you’re no longer just Lia’s friends and family or mine—you’re ours.
Maid of Honor
I’m Asia, and I’m beyond thrilled to be the Maid of Honor! A little about me: I’m all about the color red, I’m a total foodie, and I adore anything and everything with flowers. Khalilah and I go way back to our elementary school days. Our friendship is the kind they write stories about—like how my cat was our cat, and how going to different high schools and colleges didn’t change a thing between us. Even when life gets busy and we don’t chat every day, we always pick up right where we left off. When I became a mom, Khalilah was already “Auntie” without a doubt. We’ve celebrated so many milestones together, and it’s such a blessing to keep making memories, no matter the distance!
Best Man
Ronnie and I became roommates in the fall of 2011 at Savannah State University. During that time, we discovered shared interests in campus activities, which led us to leadership roles in various organizations. In the fall of 2013, we were initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, through the Delta Eta Chapter at our university. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of watching Ronnie grow into the man he is today. Despite the complexities of life, he navigated them with resilience, always keeping his eyes on the prize. It is my prayer that God continues to bless Ronnie and Khalilah as they formally embark on this new chapter of their lives.
Bridesmaid
Hello beautiful people! My name is Danielle, I am a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse originally from Brooklyn NY, but currently living in NJ. My hobbies include bowling, traveling, cooking, spending time with my family, and sleeping (LOL). Fun facts about me: I love the beach I am an only child I am a Finer Woman of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated How I know the bride: I met Lia in 2018 when we had the pleasure of working together as postpartum/mother baby nurses at Jersey City Medical Center. Lia was quiet and to herself, but our opposite personalities made us even closer. What started out as us being “work friends” has now blossomed into a true, “out of work” friendship and I am grateful that JCMC allowed our paths to cross!
Groomsman
Ronnie and I met in early 2013. Our interest in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is what formally brought us together. From our pledging process to present we’ve remained close and kept in constant communication. Ronnie and I became Fraternity / Line Brothers in the fall of 2013. Through the long days / nights of needing one another we became inherently close. Ronnie has always kept to himself; however, he can be the life of the party when necessary. He’s quiet in nature, but isn’t afraid to speak his mind when need be. Ronnie, I am proud to call you my Line Brother and look forward to standing by your side on your special day. With dignity and love, Brod

Groomsman
My name is Andrew military vet and college grad and constantly striving for more. One thing I have been able to appreciate in this life is valuing the relationships we’re able to create that don’t come at a price. A genuine bond that doesn’t come conditional or requires qid pro quo. I can honestly say I endured that the day I met Ronnie. At that time, that was definitely something new to me. Me and Ronnie met in the lobby of our dorm during a dorm meeting and somehow we were next to each other cracking jokes for like 30 min while we payed absolutely no attention to what was being said. As soon the assembly was over, we continued cracking up not realizing we were walking the same direction. We walked into the direction of our rooms, casually joking about living on the same floor. I’m like i live on this floor to and him and his New York accent “nah you bugging.” While I’m completely lost he opens his door directly across the hall from me. The next day we ate lunch realized we had so many similarities it was scary and he’s been gettin on my nerves ever since, now he’s Khalilah’s problem now. Thank God. I’ll be beginning school to become a pilot soon, I hope you guys future and dreams are as high as I plan to fly.
