Question

What time does the wedding ceremony begin?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5 PM on May 10, 2025. We kindly ask all guests to arrive by 4 PM to ensure a smooth start. Doors will open for seating at 4:30 PM. We kindly ask everyone to arrive on time, as entry will not be permitted once the ceremony begins. Thank you for your understanding.

When are invitations going out and when is the last day to RSVP?

Answer

Wedding invitations will be sent out on March 1st, with the RSVP deadline set for March 31st. Please note that on April 1st, the guest list will be finalized.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately not. This is an adults only wedding and reception.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Black, formal attire. No jeans are allowed. Black suits, white or black dress shirt (preferably a tie) Black evening gown, cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit, often paired with heels (flats are optional)

Can i take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

No, this is an unplugged ceremony. We have a great photographer and videographer and we asked that for the ceremony you keep your phones away and allow them to do their job. But we will give everyone 60 seconds to take a photo of us once we are both at the alter/stage…. Please listen for that instruction. Other than that, please put all devices away.

Are there hotel room blocks

Answer

We DID NOT do a hotel room block, all guest would need to make lodging accommodations on their own.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

“Your presence at our wedding is the most important gift to us. However, we kindly ask that you contribute to our newlywed fund. This newlywed fund registry is designed to help us start our new life together, and your generosity would mean so much to us. Thank you for supporting us as we begin this journey!”

What’s the weather like around the time of the wedding?

Answer

Some say the month of May brings back summer-like weather with an average high of 80 to 85 degree weather.

What’s parking like at the venue?

Ali Events has a parking lot, which you can park for free. First come first serve.

Can I Bring a Plus one.

Answer

We kindly ask for your understanding as we are unable to extend a plus-one invitation to all guests due to space and logistical considerations. We truly value your presence and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Is there a cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes, there will be a cocktail hour where you can enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere, while we take some photos and mingle.

Will the wedding ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place indoors. However, the cocktail hour will be held outdoors in the venue’s garden area while the indoor space is transformed for the reception.

What’s on the menu?

Answer

During cocktail hour, you’ll enjoy delicious bites like shrimp and grits shooters, mini fried chicken and waffles, meatballs, and fruit skewers. For dinner, you’ll be treated to a choice of main courses, including Marry Me Chicken, salmon, or sliced ribeye.

Will there be a open bar or cash bar?

Answer

We’re excited to offer an open bar, along with two signature cocktails. Ron’s signature drink is a twist on a classic Old-Fashioned, featuring a shot of grenadine at the finish for a unique touch. Lia’s signature drink is a fun, feminine creation that’s sure to delight or as she calls it, “girly”.
