Here's how it all went down...

We technically met at the City Lights Theater Company auditions for Amadeus. But Roneet had an eye on Max after seeing him in a show the previous month. Maybe it was the kind hearted character he played, or his talent, or just his sideburns that made her take notice. (it was probably the sideburns) The two chatted together briefly and Max mentioned he was planning to see the show Roneet was currently rehearsing at City Lights, Coney Island Christmas. Maybe it was her smile, or her talent, or maybe it was her dreidel skills that attracted him to her. (it was probably her dreidel skills) Flash forward: they both get cast in Amadeus and rehearsals start. Jocelyn Murphy, the Yenta of our story, took on her relentless mission of figuring out how to get these two together. Never did she waver, without ever a hesitation, she proceeded to make sure that little by little (or a lot by a lot), come what may, these two would have eyes only for each other. The friendship grew and the feelings became apparent when suddenly, as all shows do, Amadeus came to a close. Max saw his challenge before him and seized the moment (with a little nudge from Roneet) and the official first date was planned. They were headed to go watch San Jose's arena football team, The Sabercats, win a triumphant game. It was a romantic night of airhorns, Sweet Caroline, and cow bells. And the rest is really history. 7 shows together later, 3 1/2 years making a home with one another, and bringing our little dog, Hamilton, into our lives, we've made it. We are so excited to share this next milestone with our loved ones.
