I am so excited to share the city that is my second home with you! Here are some great options to get a feel of the local life. Many Germans speak great English, which makes getting around much easier.

Open 9 AM to 6 PM and closed Mondays. Entrance to tour is about $7. Beautiful gardens surround the property to explore, and the riverfront is also a great place for a break.

Johannisburg Palace

Our local brewery! The beer is delicious, and you can grab a seat outside or inside and enjoy traditional German lunch or dinner. Always a great, relaxed atmosphere.

Brauereigaststätte Schlappeseppel

This is our shopping mall with lots of great shops, cafes, food court, and more.

City Galerie

A beautiful park that is worth a visit. You can walk through the park, around the pond, pet some cattle, and stop by the beer garden for something to eat and a nice beer. Very kid friendly, there are lots of activities for the kids.
