OH HELL YES! Bring your dancing shoes, and your sliding pants. The City Museum is extremely hands on and there are slides just about everywhere. All guests have access to the museum for the entire day of the wedding. There should be plenty of time throughout the day where you will have the opportunity to explore the museum, and be sure to see the "Caves of Mystery" which will take you to a 10 story spiral slide.
Yes, free parking at the City Museum is available in the west overflow lot. The entrance to this lot is between 17th and 18th street on Lucas. If you prefer, you may also park in the main lot for $7. You can also park here for the ceremony, when parking might be difficult because of the Cardinals game. We'll have a bus picking people up from this lot and bringing them to the ceremony from about 4:30-5.
Lol, this one is best told by Sean, Ryan's brother and one of the best men:
If your kids are still young, it is up to you. We love little ones, but we also want to party our butts off with you. We know a lot of you will be traveling to celebrate with us, and it is hard to leave your children for few days. To help those parents traveling with their children, we are also planning on looking into arranging for a shared babysitter at the hotel. That way you can have fun with the kids at the museum early in the day, and party with us later that night. Let us know if you'd be interested.
Yes, you may explore the museum during the reception, but you may not leave the Architecture Room with food or drinks. We can't wait to party with you all, though, so we suggest exploring the museum during the day so that you can eat, drink, and dance at night!
You may enter the museum at any time on the 7th. When you arrive, there will be an information desk to the left of the ticket booth. Drop our names, and you will be presented with a wrist band granting you entry anywhere in the museum. Museum hours for Saturdays are 9am - midnight.
