Affectionately known as "Dee", a life long friend and 1/3 of the notorious Coconut Bandits, Denicia is the Ore Iyawo of all Ore Iyawos. This dynamic duo met the summer before 9th grade and unknowingly would become BFFs. Without her, there may not have been a Cherie in the ATL for Ron to find! Dee is also our Chieftess of Movement and steps into her role without missing a beat!

The other 1/3 of the Coconut Bandits, truly representing St. Pete to the finest, don't let the D-R period fool you. Dr. Mintah knows how to live, her sense of humor, pursuit of adventure and quirky spirit has inspired a story or three between these life long friends. Chaille is as fun as they come and definitely a true sister any bride would love to have in their corner.

As fate would have it, Jihan and Cherie were paired as roommates during their freshman year at FIU. Be it random or, intentional the match was made in heaven. With nearly identical birthdays, high school names and majors, they quickly became two peas in a pod (or dorm) and weathered many a storm together both literally and figuratively. Jihan is the strong, no-nonsense backbone that Cherie never knew she needed and then some. A very treasured and necessary sister, dancehall queen and confidant all rolled into one.

Lissett is not only a Sister in law to Cherie but truly an hermana in love. Through union she is not only family but truly a friend. The party would not be complete without the cherished advisor, confidant, aunty and secret salsa partner.
Shermayah "Ziphorah" Smith

As brand new transplants to the ATL Ziphorah and Cherie navigated their new surroundings and community together. The Most High knew Cherie needed another Sister here who was down to earth, with a peaceful spirit who was also very resourceful. Ziphorah was the magic link, welcoming Cherie to her Hebrew circle and giving her the chance to meet her future Ish in person.
