Like many a great love story in the millennial age, we first met online. It was June of 2015, Cherie was moving into a new community, both literally, spiritually, and virtually. One day a mutual friend posted a photo with Ron on Facebook, Cherie was intrigued and decided to send him a friend request. Ron promptly accepted, as this was before his budding friends list was filled to capacity. A few short months later after Cherie announced her relocation to the Atlanta area, Ron, the perfect gentleman that he is, slid in her comment section and offered to be of assistance. Cherie, while flattered and eager to meet new people in the area, was still cautious and politely declined his offer. Fast forward to the new year in January of 2016. Ron was having a small gathering with a few friends one faithful evening after the Shabbat, and unbeknownst to him, a mutual friend had invited Cherie to come along. Cherie with son Kimoni in tow, showed up to finally meet these new friends face to face. Not knowing Ron would be there, she instantly recognized him asleep on a sofa, the same sofa where Kimoni would also decide to take a rest. Ron woke up, a little surprised to see Cherie there, but still greeted her warmly and made her feel welcome. Kimoni would wake up soon after and without rhyme or reason go over and hug this perfect stranger. As the rest of the evening went on, it was like two separated souls had reconnected. They chatted over boiling edamame, Cherie danced a few rounds of the MJ Experience, Ron wiped the sweat off her brow and they were inseparable. Six years and three kids later, we are here and ready to officially Seal the Deal!
