Alexandria and Ron met through mutual friends when one of her best friends started dating one of his best friends. Their friends had a birthday party at an Angels baseball game where Ron and Alexandria were not seated together but both clearly wanted to be. When the night ended Ron asked Alexandria for her number and they have been together ever since. Not a day has gone by since without them speaking. Ron proposed by recreating their first date with a ferry ride to Balboa island in Newport Beach California, and asked in the gazebo that served as the meeting point for their first date. Fun facts about their first date: Ron arrived extra early to the restaurant to secretly take a shot of tequila to help his nerves, and while walking around the island after dinner with frozen yogurt Alexandria stepped on something slippery on the sidewalk. Luckily Ron helped catch her from falling, and has been sweeping her off her feet ever since. He was nervous, she was embarrassed, it was clearly meant to be!
