We LOVE Amtrak! Trains are the best way to travel in our opinion. The Southwest Chief takes you from Chicago to Los Angeles via Kansas City, Albuquerque, and Flagstaff. We highly recommend this if you're coming from the Midwest or Northeast.

A great way to travel from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. Keep in mind, there will not be shuttle service from the station to the venue.
