Did we really meet on Tinder? Yes, Asia literally Swiped Right For Bright! Here are some other frequently asked questions related to the wedding.
Question

What are the COVID-19 policies and procedures?

Answer

We would like for all attendees to be comfortable at our wedding. With that comes our responsibility to provide the most safe environment possible. For that reason, we strongly encourage all guests to be vaccinated, boosted and if experiencing any Covid-19 or flu-like symptoms to please stay home. There will be a livestream available for anyone who isn't able to attend.

Question

Is there a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes, it is #SwipedRightForBright

Question

May I take photography and videography during the Ceremony?

Answer

We'd love for everyone to enjoy and commemorate this day just as much as we plan to. In order for that to work we will not allow photography and videography during the ceremony other than by the contracted professionals. It's very important to us that everyone abides by this request. We look forward to having a fast turn around for ceremony photos.

Question

May I take photography and videography during the Reception and Cocktail Session?

Answer

Yes! Go crazy with photos at this point. We'd love to look at as many as we can so if you post them then please use the hash #SwipedRightForBright so we can find them later.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Usually, early September weather in Houston is humid. For that reason, attendees will never be required to be outside during the event.

Question

Are children allowed to the wedding?

Answer

This will be an adult-only event. We will not be upset at anyone for not attending due to lack of child care but we do ask that you secure childcare prior to RSVP'ing for the event.

Question

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

We understand that this is a sensitive topic, however we will have limited seating. To avoid any inconveniences, please don't bring anyone that wasn't formally invited via our reservation process. Plus one's will be rationed out based on our preferences.

Will transportation be provided to/from the hotel?

Answer

The Citadel is outside of the hotels transportation range but here's a link to the locations the hotel is able to take you. https://www.ihg.com/intercontinental/hotels/us/en/houston/houit/hoteldetail/directions

Question

When should I RSVP and how?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as possible but absolutely no later than June 30th, 2023. We're required to lock in the guest count 60 days in advance so there's a hard deadline for guests to register. The invitations will be sent to you from the bride and groom and should be in-hand, via mail or e-mail, by June 15th, 2023. This allows 15 days to respond to the invite. You can also RSVP today, here on the website.
