SFO / ACV

The two most convenient airports are San Francisco (SFO) and Arcata (ACV). San Francisco is about 4.5 hours south of Fortuna and tends to be the cheapest. Flying in here will include a beautiful drive up through windy roads lined with beautiful redwood trees. If you're looking to fly in a little closer, Arcata is about one hour north of Fortuna and will be the most convenient location wise.

Limited Hotel Avaiability

We can't wait for you to visit for our wedding! We just have a couple of quick notes: The week of our wedding, HSU (Humboldt State University) is having their graduation. This means that many of the local hotels in Fortuna and in Ferndale are going to be a little more expensive than usual. This also means since they're expecting a large number of people to come into town, reserving blocks in these hotels specifically for the Romero wedding will be near impossible. Therefore we recommend booking as early as possible and checking Airbnb for accommodations. While the wedding will be held in Fortuna with the reception in Ferndale, you may also check Eureka (a 25 minute drive) and Mckinleyville/Trinidad area (about an hour north).
