Michael is the eldest brother of the four boys. Paul and Terrie raised them in Paradise, CA Perhaps it's because he's the oldest, Michael has always been responsible and accountable. He's certainly a grounded man.. Perhaps that's why he fell for Sara. Clearly an opposite, it soon became apparent that the two had quite a bit in common. On their 5 year anniversary, they went caving.. For Valentine's Day each year, Mike gets a cooking lesson, and the two enjoy a new meal. Recently they moved to a quaint farmhouse located outside Shingle Springs, CA. They are already siting locations for Sara's raised garden beds, and the best way to get river access. In two months, the house is becoming a home; Things are going in a great direction. "We cannot wait to tie the knot and see what life to offer!"

Sara met Mike at work while it was still called "Ottobock". As the lead of belts and harness manufacturing, she was in the warehouse daily. After catching Michael belly-laughing, Sara may have formed a little crush. She asked him to take her to dinner. On their second date, Michael wanted to do a hike to the "Hidden Waterfalls" in Auburn, CA. Sara packed a picnic, and they embarked on a hike. Once they got down to a pool of water, they discovered a heart shaped balloon was somehow tied to a stick in the water. The balloon was several yards from the edge, and floated at the surface all through the meal. The conversation was lively, and Sara was impressed by Michael's mind. Before leaving, Sara was determined to pull the balloon from the natural surroundings. With great determination, and a lengthy amount of time, she managed to get it free. The entire walk back to the vehicle, Michael had that heart balloon floating over his head. That was Sara's moment; After being tangled into great conversation all afternoon, she could then see his heart.
