Friday Morning Drive into Ashland - Less than an hour commute from Grant's Pass. Sara had her heart set on doing the hot springs soak, but the Umpqua Hot Springs Trail is currently marked as closed. This will be a little more razzle dazzle than the alternative
Umpqua Hot Springs

These hot springs, the Umpqua Hot Springs, are understandably among the most popular in the state. A handful of geothermal hot pools sit on a cliffside travertine terrace above the roaring river. Appropriately, “Umpqua” is a local Native word for “dancing water.” Directions: From Roseburg, OR, take OR-138 east / northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Continue east on Highway 138 and then turn left at milepost 59 onto Forest Road 34. At the bottom of the hill, turn left across the concrete bridge. Go 2.2 miles and turn right onto Forest Road 3401. Proceed 0.7 mile to a parking area on the left.
Toketee Falls
Toketee Falls is a waterfall in Douglas County, Oregon, United States, on the North Umpqua River at its confluence with the Clearwater River. It is located approximately 58 miles east of Roseburg near Oregon Route 138. Toketee, is a Chinook Jargon word meaning "pretty" or "graceful".
