Our Story
Our story is a story of patience, perseverance, and love.
Chris & Brooke first met at church 4 years ago. They were good friends and led a small group together.
One night Chris showed up at Brooke's door step with soup after he found out she was sick. She had lost her voice so she had to communicate by writing in her journal. It sounds like a fairy tale start but Chris got friendzoned after just three dates :(
Brooke was really touched and impressed by the way Chris navigated that. It meant a lot to her that he continued to be her friend and treat her well. They continued leading small group together and eventually Brooke started to see Chris in a different light.
Almost exactly 1 year after "Season 1" they decided to give it another shot. Thankfully, "Season 2" has been much better and longer.
Our favorite thing about our story is that it points to HIS story. Chris has patiently and faithfully pursued Brooke in a way that reflects Jesus' steadfast love and pursuit of us.
