Great for a beautiful walk! There is a 5 mile loop around the park! Valley Forge is the site of the 1777-78 winter encampment of the Continental Army. The park includes 3,500 acres of monuments, meadows, and woodlands that commemorate the sacrifices and perseverance of the Revolutionary War generation, and honors the ability of citizens to pull together in order to overcome adversity during extraordinary times.
