Covid - Will my temperature be checked at the door?

Answer

Covid - Will I have to wear a mask?

Answer

No. You will not have to wear a mask outside, but you may feel more comfortable doing so. Masks are required inside the residence. (Last Updated 3/3/21)

Covid - Will the staff wear masks?

Answer

Yes. The staff is required to wear masks throughout the entire duration of the event. All service will be real time and no food will be set in advance (e.g. salads). (Last Updated 3/3/21)

Covid - Will I be able to social distance?

Answer

Yes. Our events will take place entirely outdoors. The gardens at Appleford Estate are completely open for you to walk and distance yourself during the reception. "Capacity" is about 350 guests. We are operating under 20% (including support staff). There will be attendants maintaining the restrooms and common surfaces. Hand sanitizing stations will be present throughout. FAQ - What is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by 04/8/21. Given the limited capacity requirements at the time of our re-planning we have significantly reduced the number of guests we have invited. FAQ - What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive no earlier than 4:00PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30PM.

FAQ - Is there a dress code?

Answer

Jacket & Tie: Similar to Semi-Formal, however Jacket & Tie indicates that it is acceptable for men to wear a sports jacket, suit jacket or even a smart blazer with a tie. Women may wear a cocktail dress that is shorter than floor-length, a pantsuit, or dressy separates to a Jacket & Tie event.

FAQ - Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. Parking is available complementary at Appleford. Vehicles may be left overnight, but must be picked up by 10am the following day. We encourage you to take the shuttle if you intend to stay the night in the area.

FAQ - Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will provide transportation from the hotel to the ceremony and back following the reception. Please refer to travel tab for specifics.
