What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

As our ceremony will blend Hindu & non-religious practices, it will be shorter than a traditional Hindu ceremony, so please arrive early and enjoy food and refreshments. Times can be found on the "Schedule of Events" tab.

How many formal outfits do I need to bring?

Answer

Only one! There is no need to change between the Ceremony & Reception. In fact, the ceremony will lead straight into the reception and the hotel is a little ways away from the venue which would make changing difficult. Please wear comfortable shoes. We encourage casual yet put together clothes for the welcome dinner on Wednesday.

Where can I buy traditional Indian clothes?

Answer

If you're unfamiliar with Indian clothes, there are 3 main options for the ladies: Saris, Lehengas, & Punjabis. For men there are Kurtas & Sherwanis. Any of these 5 options will work for our wedding. Online is your best option for buying, but if you are in the NJ/NY area, there are stores on Oak Tree Road Edison, New Jersey. Either way, we encourage guests to wear comfortable shoes.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have valet parking at the venue, as well as a shuttle running to and from the Lansdowne Resort.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have live food stations at the venue. Everything will be clearly labeled but please check with the staff for any dietary restrictions.
