Question

Any information about the Farewell Beach Day?

Answer

Enter "Kua Bay" in Google Maps. When you walk in from the parking lot, go straight down the stairs, and you will see two matching Coleman teal and gray pop-up tents. We'll be there with drinks and snacks! Our crew is already there setting up. Eduardo and I will be there by 10:30am at the latest and will start getting ready to leave around 1:45pm.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

This address in Google Maps will take you to the bottom of the driveway, which is up mauka (toward the mountain) from Mamalahoa Highway. Follow the signs and arrows and drive up through the gate, coffee fields, tree groves, abandoned trucks, and construction sites for ~1 mile (7 minutes). Most of the road is paved, but some parts are on packed dirt/gravel—a regular sedan can drive up slowly with no issues. The venue parking lot will be on your left after passing a green modular building.

Question

Any other important information about the venue?

Answer

The ceremony is fully outdoor and the reception is under an open-air tent. We suggest bringing a light layer to put on as it tends to get chilly in the evening at 2000-feet elevation.

Question

How do I get to the Welcome Party on Friday?

Answer

Spinners Daiquiri Lounge & Dessert Bar is located at 75-5669, Kailua Kona, HI 96740. Spinners is not in Google Maps, but in Apple Maps. If using Google Maps, enter “Cheeky Tiki”—Spinners is the sister restaurant downstairs. For parking, there’s a public lot at 75-5672 Kuakini Hwy. If that lot is full, there is parking up the hill on Kopiko St. (next to “The Club Kona”) about a 5-minute walk away.
