Aloft Hotel in Streeterville is a close option to the Bride and Groom's home and about a 10 minute driving distance to the Venue. INSTRUCTIONS: Please make reservations by either calling Marriott reservations at (888)236-2427 under the Yu+Urbonas Wedding Room Block or click the custom booking link provided below in order to use the special group rate. **IMPORTANT: Please note that the cut-off date for reservations is Friday, May 31st. After this date, the discounted rate will no longer be offered. At this hotel, there are 10 reserved rooms, so please call the number provided if you have questions. ** There are also various hotel locations downtown all close to the Venue, if you choose not to use our Hotel Block(s)! We’d recommend looking at hotels in the Loop, River North, Streeterville (where we currently live) and Fulton Market area for the most options, popular restaurants and closest distance. Flight
ORD or MDW
Chicago has two main airports - O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW). There are public transportation options from both that will drop you directly downtown, within walking distances to major hotels.
Train
CTA Train
From O'Hare, you can either take the CTA Blue Line to Jackson in the Loop, then walk over to State & Van Buren (3 min walk) to hop on the #146 Museum Campus bus to Solidarity Dr & Planetarium or take a taxi, Uber or Lyft. From Midway, you can either take the CTA Orange Line to Harold Washington Library - State/Van Buren, then walk over to State & Van Buren (1 min walk) to hop of the #146 Museum Campus bus to Solidarity Dr & Planetarium or take a taxi, Uber or Lyft.
Train
Metra Rail Train
For guests from the surrounding suburbs, the Metra is an easy way into downtown Chicago. There are several trains throughout the day, so please check their schedules for what time works best.
Rental Car
Getting Downtown via Car
There are several car rental options from both airports, or taxi, Lyft and Uber available. If you decide to travel via car, please use services such as SpotHero, Parkwhiz or the Hotel's Valet as street parking or parking garages downtown can be tricky, limited and pricey.
