How’s the weather?

Answer

Chicago's climate is always unpredictable, so definitely bring something warm to cover up. Yes, even during the summer. The ceremony will be outside and we are called the Windy City for a reason; however, late June is typically very warm and breezy.

Do I have a plus ones?

Will it be an open bar?

Answer

YES! It absolutely will be a fully stocked open bar. We will have a list of the hard alcohol and wine options at the bar. There are also several non-alcoholic options for guests as well.

What are the food options?

Answer

Dinner on the wedding day will be plated. Options will be provided on our website after you receive your Formal Invitation and during RSVPs. We will be providing a meat, a fish and a vegetarian option. If there are any dietary restrictions, please reach out to us ASAP, so we can accommodate appropriately. On the brunch day, we will provide light breakfast foods. If there are dietary restrictions, please reach out to us as early as possible.

Are kids allowed?

We love kids, but on the Wedding Day, we’d much prefer the little ones to stay at home. For the day of the brunch, we would love to see them! Please contact us directly if there are further questions or concerns.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire (black tie optional), but bright, colorful, summer colors are recommended! The theme is an Al Fresco Summer Garden Party, so have fun with it. Bridesmaids will be in shades of green ranging from Sage green to Forest Green.

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Short answer: shoes you can party 6 hours in The ceremony will be outside on paved concrete and is very stable. The rest of the event will be indoors on carpeted floors. Free feel to bring an extra pair of comfy shoes (I definitely will be changing mine). Please just kindly not wear sneakers or sandals until the dancing begins and we’re all too drunk to care! *I would recommend against bringing flip flops or sandals without ankle support, especially on the dance floor to avoid any accidental injuries.

Do I have to use the hotel block

Answer

Absolutely not! The great thing about the city is that we’re surrounded by so many hotel options all decently close to the Venue and our home. Use your own judgement and plan based on what’s most convenient to you!
