Denver International airport, Colorado Springs airport, grand junction airport or Gunnison airport

Denver International airport will be one of your cheapest options, but flying into Colorado Springs, Grand Junction or Gunnison will be closer. It may cost an arm and a leg to fly into Gunnison, so flying in elsewhere and taking a scenic drive may be your best option. Denver is 200 miles away Colorado Springs is 205 miles away (but less traffic than Denver) Grand Junction is 130 miles away Gunnison 36 miles away

Crested Butte & Gunnison

Crested Butte is the closest town to Gothic, and where many of you may chose to stay, there are many hotels, inns, and a ski resort to choose from. Another town close-by is Gunnison, here you will find many more lodging options. There are Air Bnb options as well in both towns.

A shuttle will be on standby throughout the reception for anyone who wants to leave early. At the end of the night, all remaining guests will be shuttled back to the Nordic Inn, where your cars will be waiting. More information will be offered as we plan and events get closer

Gunnison to Crested Butte is approximately a 30-minute drive. There is a free shuttle service available from Gunnison to Crested Butte, or multiple rental car options at the airport.

How to Travel Around Crested Butte

If you are staying on the mountain, the best and easiest way to get to downtown Crested Butte is by taking the town's free shuttle, the Mountain Express. There is a free town shuttle every 20 minutes from 7:35 am to midnight every day. Once you are in town, everything is in walking distance, or you can rent a bike to cruise around Elk Avenue.
